BSC Rim Deburring Tool DBT-1

A$55.00
sold out

The BSC Rim Deburring Tool (DBT-1) is used to remove sharp edges from aluminium rims. This is often required on rims in which the drilling holes have not been adequately deburred by the manufacturer. Deburring results in a light chamfered edge on the inside of the rim hole, and this reduces friction in the build process and scouring on the nipple shoulder.

Please not that this tool is specifically designed for aluminium rims. It only requires a light touch when using. Please also note that the tool is not designed to counter-sink holes.

Product details:

Tip construction: 6.3 mm diameter Karnasch tip, secured with a carbon steel set screw

Handle material: aluminium

Length: 125 mm

Weight: 105 g
