Description
Adjustable nipple drivers improve the wheel building process, by allowing wheels to be laced with greater speed and accuracy. The SB-1S adjustable nipple driver installs slotted back/standard nipples to a uniform depth of thread. With a pre-set depth you can consistently bring your wheels to a low working tension before starting the process of truing. This nipple driver has an internal pin which allows for 7mm of adjustment.
This tool is perfect for shallow and mid-profile rims. It is 75 mm long and has a usable depth of up to 50 mm. It can be easily attached to an electric drill, with either a standard chuck or a ¼” (6.35 mm) hex bit holder. It can also be used manually with either a ¼” hex bit holder or bit holding screwdriver.
Details:
50 mm long workable length, 6 mm diameter shaft for use in most rims
Includes a spare set screw (M3) and pin
The pin length is adjusted using a 1.5mm hex key and minimal torque
