These 16 mm-long nipples are suited to rims with a thick rim wall, such as those commonly found on carbon rims.

Please note, most spoke length calculators generate spoke lengths based on a regular (standard) nipple. However, the Pillar Double Square nipple has a longer head and a greater depth of thread within the nipple. Therefor to calculate optimal spoke lengths, we recommend adding one millimetre extra to the calculated spoke length, when the ERD measurement is calculated with a standard nipple.
