Pillar’s PSR spokes are made with high quality T302+ stainless steel and are a good choice for all performance application (including mountain, road and gravel) where high strength and low weight is desired. A feature of the PSR TB 2015 spoke is that they use a unique forging process to increase the diameter of the spoke head to 2.2 mm. This increase in cross-sectional area improves strength at the hub flange.
PSR TB 2015 spokes are the Pillar equivalent of the DT Swiss Revolution and Sapim Revolution 1.5mm lightweight double butted spokes. We find the PSR TB 2015 a great option for repairing many Roval wheels which are often built with a 1.5mm (midsection) double butted straight pull spoke. When working with these spokes, we strongly recommend using a spoke holding plier/tool to prevent the spokes from twisting.
