The ball shaped head of Sapim’s Polyax nipples are unique and allow the nipple to pivot and facilitate spoke alignment, while also maintaining even contact on the inside of the rim holes. Even contact at the rim interface reduces the chance of stress risers, which can propagate cracks around the rim holes.
