Wheel Fanatyk FIX

FIX is like a mix of acrylic paint with a heavy dose of Teflon/PTFE. It's water soluble when in liquid form, however once dry, it's completely hydrophobic with excellent anti-corrosion qualities. Unless you dip your wheels in paint stripper or mineral turps, it simply won't come off the spoke threads once chemically bonded. FIX is applied with a two-part spoke thread cleaning and primer process that is critical for its adhesion. Once cured, FIX creates a tacky/springy film that migrates up the spoke threads as the wheel is tensioned, filling in every tiny gap and creating an anticorrosive boundary between the two metals. This tacky film assists in the prevention of vibration loosening. Unlike other liquid thread lockers (e.g. Loctite), FIX allows for a higher level of serviceability because there is no need for reapplication if the wheel is re-trued or tensioned. Fix is a great solution for internal nipples, which are inaccessible with other conventional liquid thread lockers.
