Pillar Internal Hex Nipple – 3/16” (4.76 mm) – Alloy
Pillar Internal Hex 3/16” Nipples are an older standard of internal nipple that was commonly used in carbon wheels, including Enve Gen 1, Reynolds and Profile Design. The nipples are less common today, due to issues arising from galvanic corrosion and nipple’s seizing. However, there are still wheel sets in operation that incorporate these nipples.
We stock the 3/16” nipple for those repairing older wheels. If you are building a new wheel set with internal nipples, we highly recommend choosing a brass option.
